Components for Americas
Cup AC75 Class boat

Background/ Overview

From industry links with motorsport, Langstone were invited by a local company to manufacture initially small parts for Ben Ainslie Racing in 2016. This has subsequently developed into the production of more complex items including foils, wings and rudders for the current class of boat in the 36th Americas Cup. The AC75 Class is a high-performance monohull with a foil. The Team at Langstone provided mission-critical support in ensuring the precision engineered rudders, wings and foiling were developed, manufactured, inspected and delivered in time for the launch of both AC75’s RB1 & RB2 with continued manufacturing support leading up to the America cup races in 2021
